The Agency is requesting an
adjustment increase in burden hours from 2,368,281 to 2,443,146, a
difference of 74,865 hours. The adjustment increase in the burden
hours is due to the increase in the number of establishments going
from 283,524 to 285,510 and the increase in the number of employees
exposed above 85 dBA going from 3,802,698 to 3,935,792 affected
employees. (Note: There was an error in the calculation of total
responses in the 2023 ICR submitted to OMB 32,081,096 responses,
which is a difference of 16,013,112 responses. The total number of
responses for the 2023 ICR should have been reported 16,067,984
responses which would have been a total increase of 1,356,384
responses for this ICR). Also, the agency is requesting an increase
in the capital cost of $ 4,079,877 going from $39,771,368 to $
43,851,245.
