1995, this notice announces that the
Veterans Benefits Administration
(VBA), Department of Veterans Affairs,
will submit the collection of
information abstracted below to the
Office of Management and Budget
(OMB) for review and comment. The
PRA submission describes the nature of
the information collection and its
expected cost and burden, and it
includes the actual data collection
instrument.

Type of Review: Revision of a
currently approved collection.
Abstract: VA Form 20–10206 is used
by VA to gather the necessary
information to fulfill claimants’ requests
to access Federal agency records and
requests for access to records based on
name or another personal identifier.
Without this information, VA would not
be able to efficiently process FOIA and
PA requests in a standardized manner.
As such, requests from claimants and
stakeholders vary in nature and in
scope.
This control number used to be
associated with three information
collections. This control number now

only includes this information
collection, and the burden estimate has
increased due to the estimated number
of receivables averaged over the past
year.
An agency may not conduct or
sponsor, and a person is not required to

soliciting comments on this collection
