Excerpt Text: Pre-Authorization & Authorization of internet based vendors:
-- I am concerned about the administrative burden to authorize and monitor the potential volume of
internet vendors. For smaller states, they may only be able to provide online shopping through
existing brick and mortar vendors. Maintaining program integrity may be difficult with current FTEs.
-- I strongly urge FNS to provide guidance regarding virtual methods of oversight and not leaving it
up to State Agencies to determine. States may not be able to implement without this guidance.
They should address:
--- How would minimum stock be verified virtually?
--- How do we verify that they are not selling damaged or expired foods?
