This form is to collect nominations for the 2026 - 2028 Charter Term of the Environmental Technologies Trade Advisory
Committee (ETTAC). The Department of Commerce will use the information provided via this application to consider
nominees who meet the eligibility criteria based on their ability to carry out the objectives of the Committee as set forth in
the Charter and Federal Register Notice and in a manner that ensures that the Committee is balanced in terms of points of
view, industry subsector, geography, and company size. Race or sex shall not be considered in the selection of the
Committee’s membership.

activities;
- Any additional documentation as helpful or necessary.

The collection, maintenance, and disclosure of this information is governed by the Privacy Act of 1974 (5 U.S.C. 552a).
The Department of Commerce is authorized to collect this information pursuant to authorities that include, but are
not limited to, Section 135 of the Trade Act of 1974, as amended (19 U.S.C. 2155), and in accordance with the Federal
Advisory Committee Act, as amended (FACA), 5 U.S.C. chapter 10. The principal purposes for which the Department
and United States Trade Representative will use the information is to assist in choosing members of the various
Industry Trade Advisory Committees (ITACs). Information received will be maintained in a Privacy Act system of
records, COMMERCE/DEPT-11, entitled “Candidates for Membership, Members, and Former Members of Department
of Commerce Advisory Committees.” A notice describing that system, including a complete set of routine disclosures,
has been published both in the Federal Register and on the Department's website at:
https://www.commerce.gov/node/4946. Although providing this information is voluntary, an individual cannot be
considered for membership without a complete application submission.
