This study will assess the health characteristic, experiences, and needs of women living in the United States who have experienced Female Genital Mutilation/Cutting (FGM/C) or are at risk for FGM/C because they or their mothers were born in a country where FGM/C is prevalent. Using a venue-based and respondent-driven sampling method for recruiting hard-to-reach populations, women who are eligible and consent will be asked to complete a one-time survey. This change request adds translations to Oromo and adapts procedures for COVID-19.
The latest form for Women’s Health Needs Study: The Health of US-Resident Women from Countries with Prevalent Female Genital Mutilation/Cutting (FGM/C) expires 2022-05-31 and can be found here.
