Semi-Annual Progress Report for the Grants To Indian Tribal Governments Program

The semi-annual progress report will be used by the Office on Violence Against Women to monitor grant-funded activities and to comply with statutorily mandated Congressional reporting requirements. The Grants to Indian Tribal Governments Program is designed to enhance the ability of tribes to respond to violent crimes against Indian women, enhance victim safety, and develop education and prevention strategies. Grantees include recognized Indian tribal governments or their authorized designees. This information collection is necessary for the Attorney General and grantees from the Rural Program to comply with federal statutory and regulatory reporting requirements. The semi-annual progress report will also be used by the Office on Violence Against Women to monitor grant-funded activities and to comply with statutorily mandated Congressional reporting requirements.
