The NIGC assists Indian gaming tribes in accessing criminal history records information (CHRI) that is used as part of the Indian tribal gaming licensing process. In performing this role, the NIGC is required to monitor the dissemination of CHRI and to ensure it is compliant with relevant privacy and security standards. This information collection will allow the NIGC to collect the information that is necessary to fulfill this requirement.
