Regulations Governing the Grading of Shell Eggs, Poultry Products, and Rabbit Products

As stated in the Federal Register published on April 18, 2014, and Supporting Statement, we are requesting the currently approved OMB No. 0581-0124 7 CFR Part 54—Meats, Prepared Meats, and Meat Products (Grading, Certification, and Standards) and 7 CFR Part 62 – Quality Systems Verification Program (QSVP) be merged into the 0581-0128 collection. Upon approval, we will submit a Discontinuation Request to delete the 0581-0124 collection to prevent duplication.
This request will increase the 0581-0128 number of respondents by 83; number of annual responses by 5,998; and the burden hours by 1,330. The affected public would primarily be business or other for profit entities, or small farms. Two forms in the approved 0581-0124 collection will be merged:
LS-315, Application for Commitment Grading or Verification Service, and
LS-313 Application for Service
