While the solar corona typically appears pearly white, observers in Spain witnessed a distinct golden color due to the Sun's low position near the horizon, which caused atmospheric scattering of blue light. The effect was further intensified by smoke from nearby forest fires. A bright pink hydrogen-glowing prominence is also visible on the left edge of the Sun, retaining its natural color despite the surrounding golden atmosphere.
