Abstract: THE FISHING SURVEY IS A VITAL INSTRUMENT IN THE PROGRAM TO ASSURE THE SURVIVAL OF THE YELLOWSTONE CUTTHROAT TROUT POPULATION IN THE YELLOWSTONE LAKE, YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK. THE SURVEY IS ALSO A NECESSARY PART OF THE PROPER MANAGEMENT OF THE FISHERIES IN YELLOWSTONE LAKE.
