Abstract: THE RAILROAD RETIREMENT ACT GUARANTEES THAT BENEFITS PAYABLE TO A RAILROAD EMPLOYEE AND HIS FAMILY WILL BE NO LESS THAN WOULD PAYABLE IF THE EMPLOYEE'S RAILROAD EARNINGS WERE CREDITED UNDER THE SOCIAL SECURITY ACT. THE REPORT WILL OBTAIN INFORMATION ON THE RETIRED ANNUITANT'S FAMILY COMPOSITION. THE INFORMATION WILL BE USED FOR DETERMINING AMOUNT OF BENEFITS PAYABLE UNDER THE GUARANTY PROVISION.
