Abstract: UNDER THE TRANSPORTATION ACT OF 1920, RIVER AND HARBOR ACT OF 1918, AND MERCHANT MARINE ACT OF 1920. THE CORPS OF ENGINEERS IS REQUIRED TO COLLECT INFORMATION ON HARBOR FACILITIES, GRAVING DOCKS OR STATIOARY DRY DOCKS WHICH ARE AN IMPORTANT HARBOR FACILITY. THE PORT SERIES REPORTS ARE USED FOR PLANNING, A PORT DIRECTORY, AND GENERAL STATISTICS.
