Abstract: THE RAILROAD RETIREMENT ACT GUARANTEES THAT BENEFITS PAYABLE TO A RAILROAD EMPLOYEE AND HIS FAMILY WILL BE NO LESS THAN WOULD BE PAYABLE IF THE EMPLOYEE'S EARNINGS WERE CREDITED UNDER THE SOCIAL SECURITY ACT. THE STATEMENT WILL OBTAIN INFORMATION ABOUT AN ANNUITANT'S CHILD AGE 18 TO 22 WHO IS ATTENDING SCHOOL. THE INFORMATION WILL BE USED FOR DETERMINING THE AMOUNT OF BENEFITS PAYABLE UNDER THE GUARANTY PROVISION
