Abstract: THE RAILROAD RETIREMENT ACT GUARANTEES THAT BENEFITS PAYABLE TO A RAILROAD EMPLOYEE AND HIS FAMILY WILL BE NO LESS THAN WOULD BE PAYABLE IF THE EMPLOYEE'S RAILROAD EARNINGS WERE CREDITED UNDER THE SOCIAL SECURITY ACT. THE EMPLOYEE ANNUITANT'S STATEMENT WILL OBTAIN INFORMATION NEEDED FOR DETERMINING AMOUNT OF BENEFITS PAYABLE UNDER THE GUARANTY PROVISION.
