Abstract: THE RAILROAD UNEMPLOYMENT INSURANCE ACT PROVIDES FOR THE PAYMENT OF UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS TO QUALIFIED RAILROAD EMPLOYEES AND FOR PLACEMENT OF THE EMPLOYEES IN SUITABLE JOBS. THE APPLICATION FOR SUCH BENEFITS, WHICH IS PRESCRIBED IN 20 CFR 325.13, WILL OBTAIN INFORMATION ON THE APPLICANT'S LAST EMPLOYMENT AND PAY RATE. IT WILL BE USED FOR DETERMINING ELIGIBILITY FOR AND DAILY RATE OF UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS
