Abstract: THE NATIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY ACT, THE NOISE CONTROL ACT OF 1972 AND EXEC ORDER 11514 REQUIRE GOVERNMENT FACILITIES TO ASSESS THE NOISE IMPACT OF THEIR ACTIVITIES. WITH THIS DATA BASE COMMANDERS ASSESS THE NOISE IMPACT AND INSURE LAND USE WITH THE MINIMUM NOISE IMPACT ON THE COMMUNITY.
