Abstract: EPA DIRECTLY SURVEYS APPROXIMATELY 520 INDUSTRIES AND INSTITUTIONS EACH YEAR FOR AIR POLLUTION EMISSIONS DATA THAT CANNOT BE OBTAINED FROM PUBLIC AGENCIES. RESPONSE IS REQUIRED BY SECTION 113/114 OF THE CLEAN AIR ACT. DATA ARE USED FOR PROGRAM MANAGEMENT AND ENFORCEMENT.
