Abstract: OWNERS/OPERATORS OF VESSELS THAT ARE SUBJECT TO U.S. INSPECTION LAWS ARE REQUIRED BY REGULATION TO MAKE APPLICATION FOR INSPECTION IN WRITING TO THE U.S. COAST GUARD. THE USE OF THIS FORM SAVES TIME FOR BOTH THE PUBLIC AS WELL AS THE COAST GUARD. (46 U.S.C. 363, 367, 390A, 391A, 392, 395, 404, 405, 445, 526, 1333; 50 U.S.C. 198).
