Abstract: TITLE I OF PUBLIC LAW 480, 83RD CONGRESS, AS AMENDED, PROVIDES FOR U.S. GOVERNMENT FINANCING OF SALES OF U.S. AGRICULTURAL COMMODITIES TO FRIENDLY COUNTRIES. THESE REGULATIONS REQUIRE CERTAIN DOCUMENTATION FROM SUPPLIERS OF COMMODITIES AND OCEAN FREIGHT TO PROVIDE SUFFICIENT PROOF OF EXPORT AND COMPLIANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF P.L. 480, AS AMENDED, THE PURCHASE AUTHORIZATION, AND THE REGULATIONS.
