SECTION 216(H)(1)(A) AND (B) OF THE
SOCIAL SECURITY ACT PROVIDE FOR THE IMFORMATION REQUIRED TO SOLICIT
INFORMATION FROM THIRD-PARTIES TO DOCUMENT EVIDENCE THAT A
COMMON-LAW MARRIAGE HAS EXISTED. APPLICATION IS USED TO PROVIDE
EVIDENCE OF THIS NATURE.
