Abstract: PROVIDES DATA ON THE COST OF STORING AND HANDLING COTTON IN PUBLIC STORAGE FACILITIES. DATA SUMMARIZED TO SHOW COST OF WAREHOUSING FOR MAJOR COTTON PRODUCING REGIONS BY TYPE OF FACILITY AND FOR EACH WAREHOUSE FUNCTION. DATA ALSO USED AS INPUT INTO LARGER RESEARCH STUDIES DESIGNED TO INCREASE COTTON MARKETING EFFICIENCIES.
