Abstract: THE LIPID RESEARCH CLINICS TYPE II CORONARY PRIMARY PREVENTION TRAIL IS PART OF AN ALREADY ESTABLISHED BROADER NATIONAL HEART, LUNG, AND BLOOD INSTITUTE PROGRAM IN THE AREA OF BLOOD LIPIDS AND ATHEROSCLEROSIS. TWELVE SEPARATE LIPID RESEARCH CLINICS WITH ASSOCIATED LIPID LABORATORIES HAVE BEEN ESTABLISHED CONTINENT-WIDE.
