Abstract: FORM 3-177 IS NECESSARY TO MONITOR ALL ACTIVITIES INVOLVING THE IMPORTATION AND EXPORTATION OF FISH, WILDLIFE AND PLANTS AS THE SERVICE IS REQUIRED BY 16 U.S.C. 1538(C). THE INFORMATION COLLECTED IS USED TO AND IN PROTECTING ENDANGERED AND THREATHENED SPECIES AND WILDLIFE PROTECTED BY FEDERAL AND STATE LAWS ALSO, THE INFORMATION IS UTILIZED IN THE IMPLEMENTATION OF IMPLEMENTATION OF IMPORT AND EXPORT CONTROLS
