INFORMATION IS BEING COLLECTED TO DETERMINE WHETHER PROLONGED USE OF ORAL CONTRACEPTIVE DRUGS MAY BE A FACTOR IN PRECIPITATING THE THE ONSET OF DIABETES MELLITUS. THE RESULTS WILL BE USED IN FORMULATING GUIDELINES AND RECOMMENDATIONS IN REGARD TO THE USE OF ORAL CONTRACEPTIVES IN CERTAIN POPULATIONS AT RISK OF DEVELOPING DIABETES.
