Abstract: THIS IS A NATIONAL EVALUATION OF THE IMPACT OF HEAD START HEALTH SERVICES ON THE HEALTH STATUS OF ITS CHILDREN. THIS IS A COMPREHENSIVE EVALUATION OF MEDICAL, DENTAL AND NUTRITIONAL HEALTH STATUS AND SHOULD DETERMINE THE EXTENT THAT HEAD START CHILDREN'S HEALTH IS IMPROVED RELATIVE TO COMPARISON CHILDREN. IN ADDITION, THE EVALUATION IS EXPECTED TO PRODUCE INFORMATION WHICH WILL IMPROVE HEALTH SERVICE DELIVERY IN HEAD START
