Abstract: P.L. 95-627 PROVIDES A MAXIMUM OF $3 MILLION FROM WIC PROGRAM FUNDS EACH FISCAL YEAR FOR PROGRAM EVALUATIONS AND DEMONSTRATION PROJECTS DESIGNED TO ASSESS THE EFFECTIVENESS OF PROGRAM OPERATIONS OR TEST NEW METHODS IN THE OPERATION OF THE WIC PROGRAM. APPLICATION WILL OBTAIN INFORMATION ON PROPOSED PROJECT CONCEPT, METHODOLOGY, STAFFING, AND BUDGET. AWARDS WILL BE MADE COMPETITIVELY BASED ON AN ASSESSMENT OF THIS INFORMATION
