Abstract: THIS FORM IS USED TO COLLECT STATE GOVERNMENT TAX DATA FOR USE IN THE BUREAU'S ONGOING GOVERNMENTAL STATISTICS PROGRAM AS WELL AS BY THE TREASURY DEPARTMENT IN DETERMINING FEDERAL GENERAL REVENUE SHARING (GRS) ALLOCATIONS TO STATE AND LOCAL GOVERNMENTS ($6.8 BILLION DISTRIBUTION IN FY 1980).
