Abstract: OSHA MARITIME EMPLOYMENT REGULATIONS REQUIRE ANNUAL INSPECTION OF MATERIAL HANDLING EQUIPMENT. THESE INSPECTIONS ARE PERFORMED BY AGENCIES WHO HAVE BEEN ACCREDITED BY OSHA. THE APPLICATION FORM IS USED BY PERSONS APPLYING FOR ACCREDITATION AND THE INFORMATION PROVIDED IS USED TO EVALUATE THE APPLICANT. THE OSHA 71 & 72 ARE INSPECTION FORMS USED BY ACCREDITED AGENCIES.
