Abstract: THIS EVALUATION OF THE PUBLIC HOUSING URBAN INITIATIVES PROGRAM TARGETED REHABILITATION/MANAGEMENT ASSISTANCE COMPONENT IS INTENDED TO MEASURE THE IMPACT OF THE PROGRAM ON PUBLIC HOUSING PROJECT LIVING CONDITIONS AND ON MANAGEMENT PERFORMANCE. IT INVOLVES TENANT INTERVIEWS, MANAGEMENT INTERVIEWS, PHYSICAL INSPECTIONS AND COLLECTION OF SECONDARY DATA. BASELINE DATA WAS COLLECTED IN FALL 1979 USING THESE DATA COLLECTION TECHNIQUES AND POST-REHABILITATIO
