Abstract: THIS IS RESEARCH ON THE PSYCHOLOGICAL, SOCIAL, AND EMOTIONAL CONSEQUENCES OF CHILDLESSNESS AMONG MARRIED MEN AGED 60 OR OLDER (WHOSE WIVES WERE STUDIED EARLIER). FACTORS SUCH AS SOCIAL CONTACT AND CONGRUENCE BETWEEN FERTILITY DESIRES AND OUTCOMES WILL BE ANALYZED. THE STUDY WILL ADD INFORMATION ON LONG-TERM CONSEQUENCES OF FAMILY SIZE.
