Abstract: DEVELOPED AT REQUEST OF REPONDENTS (NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF STATE DIRECTORS OF LAW ENFORCEMENT TRAINING), AS PART OF A CRITICALLY NEEDED RESEARCH EFFORT TO OUTLINE THE HISTORY, CURRENT STATUS, AND FUTURE DIRECTIONS OF STATE-LEVEL STANDARDS OF TRAINING AGENCIES.
