Abstract: PROVIDES DATA FROM FEDERALLY INSPECTED SLAUGHTER PLANTS' RECORDS, CLASSIFICATION OF ANIMALS SLAUGHTERED PLUS LIVE AND DRESSED WEIGHTS. A COORDINATED PROGRAM WITH FSQS, AMS AND ESCS PROVIDES WEEKLY AND MONTHLY REPORTS. ESTIMATES USED THROUGHOUT INDUSTRY TO MONITOR RED MEAT SUPPLIES. DATA COMBINED WITH NON-FEDERALLY INSPECTED SLAUGHTER (40-R1409) FOR TOTAL RED MEAT PRODUCTION.
