Abstract: THE NATIONAL BLOOD DATA CENTER IS OPERATED BY THE AMERICAN BLOOD COMMISSION UNDER CONTRACT WITH THE NHLBI. THE DATA COLLECTED THROUGH THE ANNUAL CENSUS FORM THE CORE OF A COMPREHENSIVE DATA BASE ON BLOOD BANKING IN THE UNITED STATES AND ARE DISSEMINATED TO THE PUBLIC THROUGH PUBLISHED REPORTS.
