SECTION 1110 AND 1115 OF THE SOCIAL
SECURITY ACT PROVIDES FOR PROJECT GRANTS AND RESEARCH AND
DEMONSTRATION GRANTS TO NONPR0FIT ORGANIZATIONS, INSTITUTION OF
HIGHER EDUCATION, AND STATE AND LOCAL GOVERNMENTS THROUGH THE
DISCRETIONARY GRANT MECHANISM. THESE FORMS ARE USED TO IDENTIFY THE
APPLICANT'S ORGANIZATION, DELINEATE THE PROPOSED BUDGET, AND
PROVIDE A COMPLETE STATEMENT OF WORK DETAILING HOW THE APPLICANT
PROPOSES TO ACCOMPLISH THE GOALS AND OBJECTIVES
