Abstract: PROVIDES END-OF-YEAR DATA TO ESTIMATE ACREAGE, YIELD AND PRODUCTION FOR THE MAJOR FIELD CROP AT THE STATE AND COUNTY LEVEL. COUNTY ESTIMATES FOR SELECTED CROPS ARE REQUIRED BY ASCS AND FCIC TO CARRY OUT THEIR LEGISLATIVE MANDATE. ESTIMATES USED IN MARKETING DESISIONS BY GOVERNMENT AND THE VARIOUS INDUTRIES SERVICING AGRICULTURE.
