Abstract: THE FEDERAL CROP INSURANCE ACT REQUIRES THE INSURED TO REPORT HIS ACREAGE OF EACH INSURANCE CROP PROMPTLY AFTER PLANTING. THE DATA ACQUIRED FROM THESE REPORTS IS USED TO ESTABLISH THE COVERAGE AND THE PREMIUM UNDER INSURANCE CONTRACTS.
