SECTION 12(B)(2) OF THE TOXIC
SUBSTANCES CONTROL ACT (TSCA) REQUIRES PERSONS WHO EXPORT OR INTEND
TO EXPORT A SUBSTANCE OR MIXTURE FOR WHICH A ROLE UNDER SECTION 6
HAS BEEN PROPODED OR PROMULGETED TO NOTIFY EPA. EPA MUST NOTIFY THE
FOREIGN COUNTRY OF THE SHIPMENT OR INTENDED SHIPMENT MANUFACTURERS
AND USERS OF PCB AND REQUIRED TO TEST, MAINTAIN RECORDS AND REPORT
ON PROGRESS TO REDUCE PCB CONCENTRATIONS. EPA WILL USE THE TEST
DATA TO DETERMINE COMPLIANC
