Abstract: UNDER THE MUTUAL EDUCATIONAL AND CULTURAL EXCHANGE ACT OF 1961, AS AMENDED, USICA HAS BEEN DELEGATED THE AUTHORITY TO DESIGNATE EXCHANGE VISITOR PROGRAMS FOR BOTH U.S. GOVERNMENT AGENCIES AND PRIVATE INSTITUTIONS FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROMOTING INTERNATIONAL UNDERSTANDING THROUGH EDUCATIONAL EXCHANGE.
