Abstract: THE PURPOSE IS TO ASSESS THE USE, NATURE AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING MASTER'S DEGREE HOLDERS IN INDUSTRY. THIS IS AN EXPLORATORY SURVEY OF THE INSTRUMENTS INDUSTRY. THIS EFFORT FALLS UNDER THE NSF CHARTER TO TRACT THE SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL RESOURCES OF THE NATION AS PROVIDED BY PL 81-501, SEC. 3(A)(6).
