Abstract: UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE RAILROAD RETIREMENT ACT THE SUPPLEMENTAL ANNUITY OPERATES UNDER SEPARATE FINANCIAL ARRANGEMENTS AND IS COORDINATED WITH PRIVATE PLANS OF THE RAILROADS. THE SUPPLEMENTAL PENSION REPORT WILL OBTAIN INFORMATION ABOUT AN ANNUITANT'S PRIVATE PENSION. THE INFORMATION WILL BE USED FOR DETERMINING THE SUPPLEMENTAL ANNUITY AMOUNT.
