Abstract: NASA'S GENERAL AVIATION PROGRAM IS TO PROVIDE THE BACKGROUND RESEARCH AND TECHNOLOGY REQUIRED TO IMPROVE THE SAFETY AND UTILITY OF SINGLE-PILOT AND GENERAL AVIATION AIRCRAFT OPERATING UNDER INSTRUMENT FLIGHT RULES (IFR).
