Abstract: SECTION 2, NINTH, OF THE RAILWAY LABOR ACT PROVIDES THAT THE NATIONAL MEDIATION BOARD UPON REQUEST SHALL INVESTIGATE SUCH DISPUTE AND CERTIFY TO BOTH PARTIES, IN WRITING, WITHIN THIRTY DAYS THE NAME OF THE INDIVIDUALS OR ORGAINZATIONS THAT HAVE BEEN DESIGNATED AND AUTHORIZED TO REPRESENT THE EMPLOYEES INVOLVED IN THE DISPUTE. SUCH SERVICE IS REQUESTED BY FILING NMB 3.
