Abstract: THE WATER RESOURCES SUPPORT CENTER HAS A STATUTORY OBLIGATION TO COMPILE INFORMATION FOR THE "PORT SERIES REPORTS". THE STATUTES ARE RIVER AND HARBOR ACT OF JUL 18, 1918, THE TRANSPORTATION ACT OF FEB 28, 1920 AND THE MERCHANT MARINE ACT OF JUNE 5, 1920. THE PORT SERIES REPORTS ARE USED FOR PLANNING, A PORT DIRECTORY, AND GENERAL STATISTICS.
