Abstract: PROVIDES DATA TO ESTIMATE THE NUMBER AND LIVEWEIGHT OF POULTRY SLAUGHTERED IN NON-FEDERALLY INSPECTED SLAUGHTER PLANTS. ESTIMATES ARE USED THE FOLLOWING YEAR TO ADJUST MONTHLY FEDERALLY INSPECTED SLAUGHTER UPWARD TO REFLECT TOTAL POULTRY SLAUGHTER. THESE DATA ARE USED BY POULTRY INDUSTRY IN EVALUATING MEAT SUPPLIES AND POULTRY INVENTORIES.
