Abstract: USED TO COMPLY WITH LEGISLATIVE MANDATE (P.L. 93-247, AS AMENDED, SECTION 2(B) (6)). DATA IS GATHERED AS PART OF A NATIONAL STUDY OF THE INCIDENCE AND SEVERITY OF CHILD ABUSE AND NEGLECT. RESULTS WILL BE USED IN DEVELOPING AND IMPLEMENTING FUTURE PLANNING AND POLICY EFFORTS.
