Abstract: THE DATA COLLECTED ARE USED TO COMPLY WITH THE GRANT ALLOCATION PROVISIONS OF SECTION 303(A)(2) OF THE OMNIBUS CRIME CONTROL AND SAFE STREETS ACT OF 1968 (AMENDED) WHICH REQUIRE THAT THE BVLOCK ACTION GRANTS MADE AVAILABLE BY LEAA TO EACH STATE BE ALLOCATED BETWEEN STATE AND LOCAL GOVERNMENTS ACCORDING TO THE RATIO OF STATE-TO-LOCAL "LAW ENFORCEMENT" EXPENDITURE FROM THEIR OWN REVENUE SOURCES.
