Abstract: ACCREDITATION GRANTS ARE ONE-TIME AWARDS OF $800 WHICH AID MUSEUMS IN PAYING EXPENSES ASSOCIATED WITH THE ACCREDITATION PROCESS. CURRENTLY, MUSEUMS MAY APPLY FOR ACCREDITATION EITHER TO THE AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF ZOOLOGICAL PARKS AND AQUARIUMS (AAZPA) OR THE AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF MUSUEMS (AAM).
