Abstract: THIS STUDY IS DESIGNED TO DEFINE GENERAL PROGRAM AREAS OF CONSUMER CONCERN AND CONSUMERS' EVALUATION OF THE GOVERNMENT'S ROLES AND ADDITIONAL RESEARCH IS BEING CONDUCTED TO DETERMINE HOW THE NEEDED INFO. CAN BE PRESENTED MOST EFFECTIVELY. THE OBJECTIVES OF THIS SURVE ARE DIRECTED TOWARD BOTH THE SIMPLE ASSESSMENT OF FOOD LABEL UNDER STANDING AND DESIRES, AND THE MORE ELABORATE TOPICS OF FOOD AND COSMET SAFETY
