Abstract: A SAMPLE SURVEY OF CLIENT DISCHARGES FOR PSYCHIATRIC INPATIENT UNITS OF NON-FEDERAL GENERAL HOSPITALS WILL BE CONDUCTED FOR NIMH BY AHA. THE DATA WILL BE USED FOR DETERMINING NATIONAL ESTIMATES ABOUT THE CHARACTERISTICS OF PERSONS RECEIVING TREATMENT IN MENTAL HEALTH PROGRAMS.
