Abstract: THIS FORM IS AN APPLICATION FOR PERMISSION TO PROSPECT FOR MINERALS ON PUBLIC AND ACQUIRED LAND. THE FORM ALSO REQUIRES THAT THE APPLICANT IDENTIFY THE LAND INTENDED FOR PRESPECTING AND THE MINERAL SOUGHT. THE DATA WILL BE USED TO DETERMINE IF THE APPLICANT IS QUALIFIED TO OBTAIN THE MINERALS UNDER THE MINERAL LEASING ACT OF 1920 BEFORE THE PROSPECTING PERMIT CAN BE ISSUED.
